Culture Shock
Since I’ve begun school here, life has just been...different...somehow. Not necessarily in a bad’s just...difficult to adjust to. Cultures are so very different around the world, and even the you can see how switching from one place to another can be a major shock. As it was in my case.
“What’s your problem, dude? Get with it!”

Even adjusting to the way things are here is taking longer than I had expected. In Colorado, where I was born, things are laid back...but here, it’s like I’m always going...always running. Here, I always have to watch my back. The crimes, the back-stabbing “friends,“ the constant is an incredible culture change.
All I really want from life is and happiness will come along the way. I know it seems somewhat clichéd, but it’s true. I’ve never really been into violence, never into the drama and hatred most others are consumed with. I’m just

Crescent Blood
They say I was an adorable kid, always optimistic, always looking for a way to have fun. They say I was an inspiration to almost everyone around me...until I was murdered. No one knows who did it, why it was done, or where my body went...except me. I saw it, and I remember it all.
My name is Zane Crescent. If I were still alive, I would be a 39-year-old man. I am of average height and weight, nothing too crazy to talk about here. A pretty laid back guy, I never really got into trouble as a kid. Sort of shy in my earlier years, I “came out of my shell,” as some say, around my 9th or 10th grade years. I was a weightlifter in high school…and now, I have huge fangs…so I guess you could say I have “the look.” None of that really matters when you’re invisible to all the mortal women, though.
Anyway, my murderer was a desperately hungry vampire named Rey. He’s not usually one to feed at such a time--in broad daylight--but he had known my family for year

I guess a boy is never really in touch with himself, having never seen what he supposedly doesn't like.

I hadn't a clue who I was just nine months ago, when I posted my first Journal entry. All I had known last February was that the conservative Oklahoma lifestyle really didn't fit all. I knew that I wanted something more...but the word "more," for me, was very undefined. The path I'd be walking in a year was merely a blur in the frosted glass I peered through, which I was convinced I clearly understood. As things have unraveled, I have become open and very welcoming to the fresh breeze that has awaited my embrace for so long.

Is this a boy becoming a man?
